@Petegrin1 Its the lore people are intersted in, and even the black projects without the alien myths would stirr curiosity. The ufo lore probably helps the base as if someone does see something they will immediately say it was a ufo and people wont take them seriously. Allthough all the test flights would be done at night and your lucky to see more than just lights in the dark.

I bet by now if they was conducting experiments on "aliens" or crashed ufo's they would probably be using a secret underground base somewhere else as Area 51 is the most obvious place now.

The funny thing is...Area 51 is not really "secret." It has been acknowledged a lot of times by the government, if you take a look into the past.

The B-1, SR-71 Blackbird, B2 Bomber, etc. all came out of Area 51 as a result of people doing research there. There are not freaking aliens. There's also no proof.

If you give a secret base millions or billions of dollars a year, gather the most qualified scientists/physicists and engineers...is it a wonder what technology come come about?

If they were doing such secret things you wouldn't even know about Area51. It's probably a scheme to hide the real shit they're doing, probably in some hidden base, carved in a mountain...
