This is a WeatherSTAR 4000 emulator video I recorded to show weather conditions from Love Field in Dallas, Texas on March 31, 2008 at 1:25 PM Central Daylight Time.
PLEASE NOTE: Since I'm in the Eastern Time Zone, the time you see displayed in the emulator video clip was recorded from my location. The time of this weather report is still correct, but subtract one hour for Central Daylight Time. Also, the server in which the emulator downloads the latest radar was not working when I recorded this video.
It was yet another unseasonably warm day in North Texas during this early afternoon and temperatures were already in the upper 70s to low 80s. While it was rain free at the time of this report, it was expected to change. The threat of thunderstorms was high and it was very possible they were to be severe. No severe weather watches or warnings were issued at this point, but besides thunderstorms, high winds and hail were possible later in the day and in the evening for Dallas and Fort Worth.
This video was created for personal entertainment use only (meaning not for any commercial broadcast that would violate copyright law). Downloading and reposting this video on YouTube or any other video sharing web site is not permitted. All images (except for the regional radar map itself) are emulated in appearance to resemble graphically what the local forecast segments looked like on The Weather Channel during primarily the 1990s.
