anyway long island sucks too, its overpriced suburbs, rows and rows of houses, and the traffic , east end, where theres the wineries and whats left of the farms, is nearly as bad as any of the 5 boroughs

you can't stereotype nyers by saying they arent stupid, either, it may be just a demographical illusion that there's more idiots per square inch there(manhattan)

incidentally living in ny something is always burning and billy joel knows that as well as any1 else , i live on long island i went to school near where he sang about "hangin out at the village green' that was in hicksville it was a open field behind a small row of stores and then 2 highschools which are still there. as far as i know this is true, if im wrong, billy himself will have to post a correction.
