to me this is testimont to Elvis's amazing voice, and how i like to picture him, sat at the piano, surrounded by his family friends, and singing for himself, truely inspiring

Sorry, I don't have a specific date. Elvis was stationed at Fort Hood, TX April-Sept. 1958; He used to go to Eddie Fadal's house frequently while stationed there. His mother also visited there. Gladys died 8/14/58. He left for Germany 9/22/58

Written by Pat Best. Elvis sang this song at the home of Eddie Fadal in Waco, TX in the summer of 1958. It is available on the Home Recordings CD.
