  • @nata3210 I knew what that person meant. Did you know that her roots are hip-hop and the like? She used to be part of a trip-hop group and worked with rappers and DJs before she made albums like Whoa, Nelly! and Folklore. So with that said, she did stay true to herself in a sense. She's an urban artist at heart. She did what not a lot of artists do. Completely switch up genres and yet was still successful at it. By now, any true fan of her's has just as an eclectic ear as she has.

  • @garisbaldeagle I guess what that person meant (and I agree with that is get away from the "promiscuous" music and go back to your roots and in on the radio she also says "I decided to stay true to myself" what happened with that?

  • @AngryAtTechnology75 Get away from the poppish, hip hoppish garbage? You do know that this song and the remainder of the songs from Whoa, Nelly! for the most part is/are pop. I've never heard of an album that wasn't pop that went multi-platinum. And a lot of the songs on that album have elements of hip-hop in the production. If you actually listened this album, you would've heard a line in "Shit on the Radio" when she said "pop ain't going solo".

  • i agree this was definently her best album...really unique

  • @TrillianS8 NO KIDDING!! Where did she go?. Said the very same thing on another video of hers....'Bohemian Nelly':)

  • oo I remember bakc in the day I had a new and my first cd burner. I downloaded this whole album from a russian site and burned it to satisfaction..... cool times

  • I miss Bohemian Nelly Furtado.

  • @AngryAtTechnology75 Your just angry at everything progressive. Tech, musical evolution, whats next? Go back to unique style? It would no longer be unique then. Whoa Nelly was a Picasso, you can not duplicate. Folklore, Loose, Picasso's, different era. Look at early Picasso and mid, late Picasso, very different, all unique.

    Awesome, Yes..

  • Love this CD-Saw her in a small club in Boston-awesome show!!!
