The new Kawasaki ZZR1400 is claimed to be the fastest production bike in the world off the line by the Japanese manufacturer, and it's already impressed American testers at the US launch.

MCN road tester Adam Child rode the bike at the launch, where he got the chance to ride around the 12km Nardo ring.

  • @R35GTRBlack You could put 210 on the speedo, but the actual speed was "only" low 190's...

  • The whole speed limiting crap does suck, but I understand the reasoning behind it. However, getting a bike unrestricted isn't all that challenging... for those who really want to reach the 200+ mark. ... I just can't stand the idiots who slap a PC on their bike with an exhaust and say they run 200mph all day... on a 600cc -_- ... you guys know who you are haha

  • @thespib I guess in a hot environment (30-40c+) the outside may get confused with the engine oil temperature during warm up. Although I would expect anyone owning this bike to know the difference :)

  • @TheAegisClaw that and speed rated tires only go to 186mph continuous.

  • not in Canada!! turn up the throttle!

  • This speed limiting is such fucking bullshit! Back in the late ninties you could put 210mph on the speedo of your Hayabuso. Now 12 years later with another 30 horespower we are stuck going probably 6 or 7 mph slower than we were back in the day!

  • get ya fuckin hair cut ya 70's throwback

  • Booo, I was expecting at least a little knee down action

  • Hayabusa is still the best ... simple!!!!
