Well. In prostitution, the tests happen AFTER the act has occurred. The health issue is the customer, who may or may not be HIV positive. Because of the issue of the customer's own health, prostitution can't be made legal.

@pooptickler1337 First of all, the tests are regular and required. Second, don't people have the right to make that decision for themselves? If they want to accept that (miniscule) risk of contracting HIV in order to get laid, what right do you have to threaten them with imprisonment if for making what you consider, the wrong decision. For some people, prostitution is the only option they have to experience sex. Why should a disfigured person be forced to live a life of abstinence?

@pooptickler1337 But making prostitution illegal doesn't eliminate prostitution, it just moves it to the black market. HIV and other STDs are rampant among black market prostitutes, so outlawing it actually causes AIDS and other diseases to spread MUCH faster. Public health would IMPROVE if it were legalized. One more thing, when prostitution is legal, children aren't turned into hookers.

Prostitution? That is not a debatable topic. It should be LEGAL! Those who disagree, well, line up behind the other fun hating dorks. @pooptickler1337 the issue of health is a side area of the general idea of prostitution. the idea of prositution should be legal. the health issues beside it are mere practical problems. builders can suffer accidents, doesn't mean building should be illegal and it just means peopel come up with ways to fix these problems and theses people own those ideas (the solutions) and then they sell it if they want. if you own it, you can give it away and you can ask for reciprocation.

Dates are a form of prostitution... pay for the meal and get a shag. Now if prostitution was legal you could just skip over that BS and go right for what you want. As for morals related to sex, those are ment for limited people who should have NO right what so ever to force them upon others.
