@Constitution2012 Don't automatically assume that the Tea Party is Ron Paul and his supporters. Many Tea Partiers have attacked and ridiculed Ron Paul and his libertarian message. In other words, the Tea Party of now is largely made up of neo-cons. So don't assume there is anything libertarian about the Tea Party movements.

@Constitution2012 It should be pointed out though that while Ron Paul is the obvious founder of the current tea party movement, the tea party movement has turned against Ron Paul and moved away from it's libertarian roots. Now the tea party is a bigoted right wing neo-con movement. The same occurred with the republican party 30 years ago when Reagen took power, so go figure.
