It funny because the Windows NT Workstation 4.0 startup sound backwards is the shutdown tune.

NT workstation: meh....the creators of windows were lazy and reversed the sounds
98: strangely beautiful.

It seems that not only the tunes of Windows have changed. Does anyone remember the awesome backgrounds packed with 95 and 98? Why are they not packed in with the newer versions of Windows? The new ones are nice but, come on!
PS: Favorite was that theme with the study background and creaking-door sound effects for minimizing/maximizing. I loved those when I was a kid.
