Maybe you should read up on a little history. Then maybe once you've learnt something you'll realise satire on either side of the pond has nothing to do with WW2.

Actually CrocodileAvoider, WW 2 was a mostly European affair. USA only got involved at the end because some American interests were threatened. USA's beef was with Japan not germany. 'Britain' as UK was then popularily known also came in relatively late because Chamberlain was a big wuss. The efforts that won the 'European' War were down to the activities of the French resistance and the bloody mindedness of RussiaN troops combined with Britains superiority in the air.
