I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOUR BIRDS BUT MY BABIES LEARN TO EAT AND DRINK ALL BY THEM SELVES THEY AT ABOUT 19 DAYS THEY KNOW PRETYMUCH EATING AND DRINKING

@7mikethebike You obviously never listened to what I said, watched my vids or read a single comment I have posted Troll. What if the bull frog had wings he wouldn't bump his ass on the ground every time he jumped either would he? Incidently Clever is shown in my Pigeons for Fredde but you would know that if you weren't too busy spouting crap out of your face. So I'll leave this for the world since you placed it there.

this shit doesn't make sense- why not let their parents feed them? If you have twenty youngsters, are you gonna catch each one and hand feed each bird the hundred plus grains of feed it eats at each meal? All you need is to place a tiny handful of feed in the baby pigeons nestbox, and they will be already eating by the time they jump our of their nest, without manhandling them. You could stress or injure a babybird shoving lots of food down their mouth.

@vidaminfeeder2 You should not breed them until next season okay. It is too hard on them bone growth & such
that feeding looks a little rough to say the least.

@bilal216 Not really as it is my ability with my hands. There gullet is actually huge & the bread is moist with high oil content I make. Again these birds would have been scalped by cocks if they went to floor from nest & were only taken for that reason as I took advantage of nuicance homo hen by putting her in cock loft. These two are of my finest current flyers. Clever was struck by a hawk from 25 miles but still flew several 300s well.

Who the hell told you to wean babies at 18 days old? They should be weaned at 25-28 days old. Or whenever you have seen them eat/drink on their own.

@MaryOfExeter249 I reread your comment & it occurred to me that by your use of you you didn't possibly mean you but them or they. So removed my angry reply. It seemed you meant me. I get many trolled comments never appear here such as the one from 7mikethebike below & at times I get ornery. If so I apologize & my former reply has been removed. That said it is my opinion not to wean under normal circumstances but let it be natural though 36-40 days seems fine.

@Tossdart Well I didn't even see your first reply, haha. But yeah I just couldn't understand why anyone would tell you it is right to wean them at such a young age. Several of my breeders are in individual cages, where the food and water is right there, so they do wean themselves at 25-28+ days. Then the ones in the loft, can take much longer to finally jump out of the nest and do things on their own. I've never seen a healthy baby pigeon ready to wean at 18/19 days.
