  • I am having a ton of trouble starting my Spada. The flywheel seems to be recessed to far into the chassis to make consistent contact with the starter wheel. I have the Kyosho Multi-box, and even got the foam "template" that fits on top.I noticed you have the Proline model and are holding the car horizontally. Did you modify the chassis to gain access to the flywheel? I am desperate for help starting this thing... Any advice to share??

  • @sundevil67 hey mate Thats no good its been 4months since you posted comment sorry for the late reply haha um yeah its strange that you cant get contact with the flywheel, how thick is the spada template? maybe thats raising it up too much, even with my big 1/8 ofna box in the vid i have to get the spada bang smack onto the box but the good thing is there are no guiders in the way so it can go flat onto the box, only other thing i could say is that your starterbox wheel could be worn, thanks

  • where did you buy it

  • @HELLOTOMOROW1 got it off trademe.co.nz i sold this one but now i have another one, ive put 1.5 litres thru engine and its still screaming which tonnes of pinch

  • I did finally get it started, but it's not easy...car has to be positioned PERFECTLY in order to catch the flywheel. Having some trouble with glitching and my steering, so I haven't driven it more than twice. One of these days I'll get around to it.
