NCAA Football 09 Break The Ice & Ice Your Veins Achievement

Easy way to get Break The Ice Achievement is to keep a tied score till the end of the game, get within a good field goal range, 30 yards or so is fine. Then depending on the situation, the other team will call a time out if the time is running down at 5 seconds or if another situation is going on, make sure to call a timeout around 2-3 seconds left in the game. Then just make the field goal.

If you do the above, you should have no problem getting the Ice In Your Veins Achievement right afterwards. Which is taking the lead as time expires to win the game.

Opponent called timeout at 5 seconds exactly. They should do that every time or around that time. If not, make sure to call timeout at like 2 seconds left if they have not just to be safe (back button for quick timeout).

I was about to kick the gaming winning FG and he iced me but i did a fake FG to win the game but I score with 1 second left and he returned the kick off back for a TD....we went into 17 OT's...it was amazing the final score was 128-126..........he dropped the 2 point conversion!

I once got this on an online game. There is about 7 seconds left at their 30 yard line. I came back from a 28 to 0 deficit and he was Virginia Tech and I was Michigan State and I was away. It is now 60 to 60 and I line up for a field goal. He calls a timeout to try to freeze me. So, I tried to get back at him. I line up for a field goal, and unexpectedly the holder turns back and throws. I did a fake Fg pass. So, the reciever goes over the middle wide open, I pass it to him, and I win.

I have Break The Ice...but I always kick the field goal with like 1 or 2 seconds left to spare. ugh. And since my team is TOO good now (Buffalo Bulls, 6-0 in the 9th season; 13-0 previous 2 years) to keep it that close, I may never get it.
