Very intersting day! i went from palmer lake to colorado springs to catch some trains. anyway the trains i caught...

Train 1
BNSF c44-9w 1035 leads an empty Grain train north to palmer lake.

Train 2
BNSF c44-9w 740 leads a weekly maifest south to pueblo up the grade at Palmer Lake

Train 3
BNSF es44ac 5771 leads ANOTHER all GEVO coal train up Palmer Lake.

Train 4
BNSF es44ac 6125 leads an empty coal someware inside Academy. it's sure is highballin'!

train 5
BNSF sd70ACe 9225 leads another empty coal train north and meats up with a southbound loaded coal.

Train 6
BNSF es44ac 5951 leads a fully loaded coal south. the homeless guy in the lower right corner almost got hit by the southbound coal!!! this was indeed scary. my message, even though you cant see, STOP and LISTEN!!

  • its good but its not near pro. take a look at pentrex videos. they are pro.

  • Cool! On Nat. Train Day, I saw a pretty short NS trains, but that's it. I have a lakehouse and the tracks cross the lake a couple miles away so I wait for trains there. I have spent sooooo much time waiting for them, but have only seen three trains in the 4 or 5 years we've had the place.
