Lol. How do you sit down on chairs?

@WookieRebellion501 On the bridge you can double click on the Captain's chair or the chair behind your desk and it will automatically sit. Almost every other chair in STO doesn't work like this. I think the exception is in Starfleet Academy. I believe those chairs can be double clicked and allow you to sit.

Now you can "fake sit" by standing on top of the chair and typing /e sit into the chat box. A list of sit options should appear before you hit enter, choose one.

I don't want to open my mac up to any viruses? How can this work without opening my mac up to these things?

@rschaarman The only thing that you will be installing on your mac is Virtual Box which does not contain viruses. Anything that happens in the virtual machine will not affect your mac. For example, if you get a virus on the Windows Virtual Machine, it won't be able to attack the files on your mac (which is also called the host machine).

@rschaarman STO has not been designed for mac computers; however you can install a virtual machine such as VirtualBox and install windows on the virtual machine. Then install STO onto the virtual machine. I'm sure you can find a tutorial online on how to do this, especially on the STO forums.

@LazyNightz The bad rep comes from the first few months of the game when it still had a huge amount of game breaking bugs.

All MMOs are a bit confusing at first, but you'll get used to it.

@LazyNightz You can use the hail button (the one that looks like the Starfleet symbol on your minimap) to turn in missions.
