you'd think "of course" but the fact is that in 21st century uber PC America, we have gone so far in the opposite direction of being eurocentrist that it's rare these days to find a modern portrayal of a crusader that does NOT depict him as being brutish, stupid, and clumsy, and eventually losing to the far more "intelligent and enlightened" Arabs.
