I must say, it is nice to find another sister going through nursing school concurrently. I too am in my first semester of nursing school. I'm in week 7 and everything you say, I have experienced too and it sort of cool. I was going to do videos of my journey , but for some reason I got away from it. Anyway, we can vent to each other our frustrations and good days. You and I are the same age. Where you have dogs, I have children! I'm married w/three little ones. Talk about hard. I enjoy your vids

Oh I'm so glad you enjoy my videos. You're a newbie too huh? It's so good to hear from a new student, at least my struggles aren't done alone. It's been really hard so far but I know it's worth it. Children huh? Oh then you much have a harder time with finding quiet time. I just lock my dogs in their crates... haha. Please feel free to e-mail me and tell me each week how your courses are going. Thanks for commenting!

I watched a couple of your sisterlock videos and did not realize that you are a nursing student. I plan on getting sisterlocks and I'm also a nursing student. I am in my last semester with just 5 more weeks to class and then we start prepping for the boards. First of all, your hair looks great and secondly, nursing school is awesome and when you can make the connections that you have made so early you'll do well the remainder of your nursing school and clinical period. Good luck to you.

Thank you soo much and congrats on being almost done with nursing school. I can't wait to see my horizon : ) When you do get your Sisterlocks, you gotta send me pictures. They always look different on different people. I like seeing others. Oh also let me know if you pass the boards, if you've survived nursing school that long, you'll ace them. Good luck again!

A lot of people should follow your example. A lot of times people give on themselves and when they reach retirement they have so many regrets. That's the worst feeling in the world. So to see you talk with passion about your field is beautiful.

Yeah, as the nurse's say... I'm bright eyed. I mean, I know down the road I probably won't like every single day at work but I know I will always have a smile on my face and won't EVER feel like work. I dunno, I feel like I was built to do this. For the first time in my life, I know exactly that I want to do with my life and I'm on the right track for once.

I applaud you for being in the health care system because we (society) need nurses and doctors who are patient, level headed , mature ,resourceful and caring. I great that you're taling about it. Thanks for sharing !
