For those who don't know, Israel had been backing SPLA under the table for a long time, so did South Africa, Zambia, Ethiopia, just to mention a few. They helped us with arms and training. The US just joined recently in putting pressure on Omar al Bashir's government. In my opinion, if the US had supported us like our other allies, the war would have been over and heavy price paid by the people of South Sudan would not be. Long Live South Sudan!!
