Gambit & Rogue - Kiss My Eyes

PLEASE READ:

Summary: I tried to stick to the actual story as much as I could with the limited resources I had.

Rogue is lonely and longs to be able to touch people, she doesn't think she has much hope of ever being able to find love. Then she hears about the cure and is tempted to get it. Then Gambit joins the team, of course he makes a big impression. At first Rogue is unsure of him and doesn't trust him, she is even a little frightened but he (in an extremely lame dubbing moment) introduces himself to her and she warms to him. They soon develope feelings for each other and fall in love.. They kiss and like in the comic book Rogue gets flashes of Gambits dark secret. She sees glimpses of Sinister (I used the yellow eyed demon from Supernatural) Sabertooth, the marauders and Gambits fear and guilt. But she doesn't realise what it all means and she's so preoccupied with that she doesn't realise she is hurting Gambit. Gambit goes all coma boy and Rogue, frightened by what she has seen and wracked with guilt leaves the mansion. This is where I take my departure from the real story, because it was the only way I could think to end it with what I had to work with. She goes for the cure, even though Gambit tries to stop her. At the end they are both happy because they can now be together.

Notes: I nearly lost the will to live when making this video, there is so little to work with but it turned out ok. There are a few dodgy bits here and there. I wish I didnt have to end the video this way, I hated the way Rogue was handled in the last film, Rogue had choosen many times not to take the easy option but to master in powers in the comics Also wish they didnt just use Marie as her name, it should be Anna!. Gambit in the movies was handlled pretty well for what little we saw of him but was I the only one who was a little annoyed he was so out of his time? I just tell myself he's time travelling with his inhanced powers again.

Song choice: Yep so this is the most over used song in the history of fan vidding, but it's short and it suited the couple to it just had to be this.....so there!

They need to make an X-Men movie with Gambit in it. I mean screw Bobby, Rogue belongs with that frenchman XP Besides they left off in one of the movies with her arriving without her powers. I mean WTF? How can they just leave it off like that O.o bastards.

At first I was ok with the X-men movies because I love the X-men but after so many characters were killed off and Rogue lost her powers I was suppppper pissed. Rogue is my favorite comic book character. She's supposed to be strong and independent. But in the movies they made her look weak and pathetic. So I'm hoping that they either remake the whole thing or do some more origins :D

@JustAPrayer Thank you. I saw an interview with Taylor talking about how he read every comic he could get his hands on to play Gambit and that he became his favourite character. I've still got my fingers crossed they'll do a Gambit Origins with Rogue - I know Taylor wanted to do that too. Thanks for watching.
