That is a bowfin. They are not native to Delaware, more native to the lower east coast. However, with lack of rain in 2008, lots of them made their way into Delaware waters. I caught five in 2008, with the biggest and 5 pounds, 4 ounces. Fished about a dozen times in the same place for them this year, no sign of them.

what bait did you use for those Huge bass,Lures?,i use some Rapala lures. But those were some nice fish.

@simonnigri For the Largemouth a few came on shiners, and 8inch motor oil worms. The smallies came on 3 inch storm pearl shad lures, shiners, rubber crayfish, 3inch white grubs and tubes. Thank for the comment and view!

@yavin99 Not a snakehead...called a bowfin, and caught them from the Christina River in July of 2008.
