Musharraf: Raid Violated Pakistani Sovereignty?

Pakistan's former President Pervez Musharraf said the killing of Osama bin Laden 'was the success of all peace loving people of the world.' But he also said the Americans should not have been allowed to operate independently in the country. (May 2)

I better follow up with this, the reason al Qaeda admitted bin Laden is dead is because they had to. I am sure in the coming months there will be other video released on Osama that was captured in the raid. I hope you've watched the documentary on Osama here on youtube and all the atrocities he's committed. Talk about violating international laws.

Oh so al Qaeda admitting he is dead is of more benefit to them? Give me a break! Tactically for them this would be a very bad thing to do.Having him stand trial & wasting millions of dollars to get the result (Guilty) he has already admitted to is your idea of justice? No, it is not, especially for all the surviving victims that would have to relive the terror.Having a trial would only build sympathy & serve as a recruiting tool for more jihad. I dont know about the witnesses or the process, my point is only this: a trial should have happened. He admitted he was guilty? Great, could have been a short, easy trial. Your point is confusing me. If he went on trial more people would hve died? What, no one is going to die now? The war has not been won. Osama's death is only a symbolic victory.

Who are the witnesses you're going to call, they either have their head cut off or they're blown up. He has already admitted he's guilty in all those videos where he is taking credit for it. Are you going to put him on trial and show those videos again, making the survivors suffer all over? If there were a trial,he would have become a martyr, they would have used it as propaganda, and more innocent people would have be killed around the world. al Qaeda has admitted he's dead!
