@Bimfirestarter most people who are serious about the study of Jews as a people group do not assume that all Jews are white people, but rather are dispersed amongst several cultures. If a levite goes to the phillipian islands and has a male child with a local, that boy is gonna have his dads genetics, even though he is thousands of miles removed from his ancestral land. Therefore the genes ascribed to Aaron would be found in several places, especially in the middle east.

@Bimfirestarter check out the Wikipedia topic "Y-chromosomal Aaron" as an initial reference point. Also, studies from archeology and ancient writing scripts basically verify the position of Israel in antiquity without any doubt whatsoever, but DNA testing is also pretty legitimate.
-
@allrza Comparing that DNA to what? Seriously, do they have Levite DNA from pre-70 CE? Have they found the tomb of some Levite with well-preserved remains and an accompanying inscriptian that mentions whether he was from a priestly family? That would be interesting. I'm not asking this to make a mockery, though I am skeptical.

Maybe they were trying to keep out suicide bombers

@Bimfirestarter actually, through DNA analysis, todays researchers can trace the geneology of certain people groups. just by swabbing your cheek, they can see if you are a descendant of the tribe of Levi.

@SaMiiMajnOoN That's funny, 'cause the hat I was wearing last Friday reminded Grampa of a clown... It was just a tuke. If I'm the clown, though, what does that make my friend who calls him (or herself) Majnoon? Crazy? You know, that word used to mean demon (jinn) possessed.
Let's not stoop to name-calling. The claim to 'passed down génération to génération isn`t legit. I'm saying what evidence exists to establish it as fact, 'cause both sides make 'claims'.

@SaMiiMajnOoN The Canaanites were pretty much wiped out. Perizzites, Hivites, Jebusites, Hittites, Amorites... I mean, who really can prove that they are decendents of any of these people? Actually, no Jew can even defend his or her claim to being decended from the ancient Israelites. All their genealogical records were lost when Jerusalem was destroyed. This isn't an issue for me. Palestinians had settled in the Levant and along came these people saying the land is theirs like bullies.

@urantivirus sure it was , in the bible it said that some Canaanites were giants
As far as I know, this is an actual find. It is not fiction.
