In the summertime, there were intermodal trains leaving Halifax with 12,000+ foot trains. Of course, with it being winter, and the economy in the crapper, trains aren't as big out of there.

9000+ foot trains are not a rarity on CN. It is an every day occurance on multiple trains.

I've heard it on the radio before...the CN 114 had 9000+ feet back in February.

302 was right behind 314, and behind 302 was a 114. 303 met 314 at Pefferlaw, 302 at Brechin, and 114 at Smail. Didn't get any others?

I got there at around 1:10 or so and waited about 1.5 hours hours for 303, then about 45 for 314. I was gonna wait around but I had to work.
