I think this kind of diversity is needed more in popular media. Look at the diversity of guests here. Comedians, boxers, politicians. All in the same panel.

And then Bill seems to just have it in for athletes. I could understand pro athletes to some extent, but college athletes? Most college athletes never make it to the pros, and regardless of whether they do or not, they do not have the same allowances as pros when they are in college. They have even less than regular college kids do. They can lose everything if they mess up since everything depends on sports. Regular kids can do whatever and as long as they pay tuition it's ok.

I agree with Chris Rock's overall point, but he needs to be reasonable about it. It isn't slavery, and they are giving those guys a college education, which is something that a lot of white kids don't get either.
But it's true that those guys work their asses off, juggling sports and class, and they do bring billions of dollars in, which ultimately goes to giving white kids world class educations.

@kirtrevans please tell me how you reasoned your way from what i said to the remark that i "think blacks are equal now because of obama"? I can't remember what i meant 7 months ago and i dont feel like watching this again. The only thing correct in your comment is that i am white.
-
what the hell is hyper racially sensitive thats bull your just white and think blacks are equal now because of obama.
-
argh proof reading is smart
throw* seen*
in any of other sport it would disqualify you/have some penalties*
there some other things to change, but it is only a youtube comment

chris rock seems to dominate shows he goes on by being hyper racially sensitive and being loud. I am a fan of him, but i can see my position changed if i see this trend continue. I searched for this episode for jon stewart and bill maher (and maybe anne coulter would through in some rediclous things), but i seem to have just see chris rock accusing colleges of slavery. How does breaking a rule in a game not disqualify you?!?!?! in any other sport? how is he missing that?

if he is such a punk , go beat his ass lol

The official reason was because of "low ratings", but it was really because of some comments Bill made after 9/11.
You say that like Bill Maher wanted to stop doing Politically Incorrect. He was fired.

I don't recall that. But I will say I'm glad he left ABC and went to HBO and he has since made an even better show with better guests.
