Yes what American people are they talking about? Last Monday, I broke my leg. I never had a broken leg before so its all new to me. I only have catastrophic health insurance which has a $2,500 deductible.

So the doctor ordered that I get it seen to, or I would die.

So I asked him about costs? He said, 'Oh yes you'll pay for it, but if you don't get it fixed you'll get a blood clot and die.' He demanded I get it seen to.

So I'm at home suffering more worried about costs.

I simply don't buy all the anti-industry saber rattling of the left, despite the fact that Obamacare entrenches corporations through mandates, fines, gerrymandered purchasing borders, and forced excessive coverage. The rhetoric from both sides, and the media, is the bullshit of industry shills. The reason health care costs so much is because of the explosive increase in pool risk since Americans are so unhealthy. Want to reform health care? Charge by the pound. Its really that simple.

The CBO estimates are wholly inaccurrate, and one big reason is that the figure you cite only includes cost to the govt, not the costs which Obamacare systematically passes on to consumers (ie, the mandate). If some politicians have insurance or not is completely irrelevant to any justification (for which I'm still waiting) of Obamacare and an insurance mandate explicitly designed to punish the healthy and subsidize the industry.

And either she is as stupid a congresswoman I've ever heard speak, or she is just ignoring the facts. The Healthcare law is going to screw us in a big way. Repeal the heck out of it, and quickly.
