I really enjoyed this book. Very down to earth and very feminist in parts. I enjoyed the funny parts in the books, in fact, I see a bit of the theatrical/comedienne in her, you 'gorra laugh' or you'll cry. I felt sorry for her when she was stuck by the lift in the court, it was nicely written though a horrible experience. Her pregnancy stories were amusing and the childbirth scene. I liked her quips on Tony although I thought he was a bit boring and moody. I liked her scouser comments (my bf is one) and loved her writing about all the silly and snooty things going on. Shame to finish it but would like to read more of her legal case she was involved in. I recommended this to a barrister friend of mine, and she had never heard of it, eh?!
