To me this is a hallucinating resemblance to life. It's all there: the childhood games and first steps, the youth with its energy, the struggle, the fail, the fear, the fight, love, security and insecurity and death...the solitude and of course, those who are watching. I wonder how everybody's life circle looks like in the end.

To those who don't understand minimalism. Think of this, minimalism is like starting at a very intricate machine. The more you stare at it, the more you learn how it operates and functions. This is what I feel a lot of minimalism does. For those of us who are knowledgeable of music, we hear this much more than repeating notes. It's a intricate construction of notes that result in something that can be moving, emotional, and evocative.

Think to Reich's "Music for 18 musicians", which is much more complex than these 'phases'
I have listened to it not less than 50 times and I still find new details!
The best is watching the musicians in action. I was amazed when I discovered that there is no electronic, but a few micriphones for chorus...

Totally agree!
It's an Urban (Musical) legend that minimalism is monotone and/or repetitive
It is like saying that the sea is boring because it is always blue
Or watching seagulls flying is repetitive because they fly always in the same way...
