EDDN Spotting | Rainy Morning and Special Guest

Again, I found time and opportunity to go out and spot planes. These photos were taken on Thursday June 3, 2010 between 6 am and 9 am.

There wasn't MUCH going on aircraft wise, but the many spectators are a clue for what was coming up this morning....

what kind of camera do u use?

@starwars732 I use a Nikon D3000 Digital SLR camera together with a Tamron 70-100mm f4 non stabilized zoom macro lens. Which will be replaced by a stabilized version from Nikkor next week. .-)

Those were amazing shots my friend and that was an awsome surprise at the end with the A380. It is the first time I see an A380 in Lufthansa colors. I think the A380 is an ugly plane but seeing it in Lufthansa colors which is one of my favorite airlines looks amazingly beautiful. The new camera is giving you plenty of fun huh?

@Ferradini75 You bet! The A380 indeed was awesome, it was too bad the pilots could only conduct one go around before continuing on to Berlin. My mom (who took the video btw) actually thinks the A380 is small. And to be honest, I totally agree, the A380 doesn't look good with every livery :P Glad you liked it!

@LotsOfGreatStuff Thats because it was flying almost directly over me and the sky was totally covered in clouds (8 of 8). Its an interesting effect though.
