  • These are brilliant but I wish they had more, um, clothes on and less chests, though they probably wouldn't sell as much to people, especially guys who mostly like that kinda thing... The Saber model was the best in my opinion. I'd buy it, even though I dunno the manga or anime she's from. The Saber model is spendidly created, with no nudity! Perfect for a young woman like me to own! ^^

  • @CrystalIce Yes, the Saber one looks incredible (and it's huge too!), the sword and armor looked like it was made from real metal as well! My favorite Saber figure is the one with a burger though and it's much cheaper too. It's just way too cute! (search for burger + saber on flickr to see what I mean ^^)

  • Bome's work are not for everyone. Some of his pieces are beautiful, but alot lack a certain moe quality, like.. they're too rigid? Many of them seem to lack energy or dynamism. Does that make sense?

  • @juzelle You might feel that way because his figures portray an older look compared to recent anime. The "moe" hype was born with series like To Heart, a revolution in anime and manga. However, BOME was a pioneer in that he brought 2D creatures into a 3D shape. Every figure that is produced in Japan now is based on his creation.

  • i love Bome's work - but why why why are guys so fixated on big breasts! these would be so much better with small or more natural chests in my opinion.

  • I have the Sai BOME figure when Tower Records still existed in my town. I had no idea who she was, but I had just gotten into anime and I thought that it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. So glad that I still have it. :D

Saber is from Fate Stay Night.

  • OH MY LORD, THIS IS A SANCTUARY!

  • this man alongside Rockin Jelly Bean are the main reason i consider this figures as POP-ART they´re more than just plastic toys.(i just mentioned Bome and R.J.B because they´re my favorite designers but i know this industry its huge, and its full of awesome artist´s)
