Strip an old 3.5mm stereo jack, twist the two positive leads together and connect to the antenna, and connect the ground to the radio's earth cable.

  • @toltec13 It will work on any radio, you just want to connect it after the modulator, and before the amplifier.

  • Awesome hack, I think this completes it. an iPod hooked to a tube radio. So you just hooked the iPod to the antenna and earth connections? is there any danger of power shooting back into the iPod? BTW that sounds awesome. Does it work on any tube radio regardless if it's AM or FM and what if the tuner doesn't work?

  • This is a great idea!. Have you tried with two radios at the same time? It would sound stereo. Try it.
