If Belgium is a monarchy. how come it has a republican flag?

: the National Congress of Belgium voted for monarchy only in november 1830, and the first king was introduced in 1831. Even after the adoption of this tricolor flag by revolutionaries, I think.

Belgium was an exemple of parliamentary monarchy because the king have a very low autority, nearly to a republic.

True. But the powers of the King have not changed much since 1830 (except the evolution of federalism). It means that Belgium still has a regime who looks like the Monarchy of Louis-Philippe in France, while other monarchies in Europe have evolved to even less powers. The King of Belgium does not make decisions, but formally, in the Constitution he has to sign every law and appoint the Prime ministers,... while other king and queens in Europe have often protocollary powers only.

The colours of the flags are the colours of Brabant because in 1789 there was a brabant revolution against Austria. And the lion on the flag is the brabant lion.

Les couleurs du drapeau sont les couleurs du Brabant car en 1789, il y eut une révolution au brabant ainsi que dans la majorité du territoire belge d'aujourd'hui contre l'empire autrichien. Et le lion sur le drapeau belge est le lion brabançon.
