Pokemon mechanic notes:
With Jolteon, Pin Missile is usually weaker, and always less consistent, than Thunderbolt - even when it hits for Super Effective. Still a decent choice, though.
Focus Energy is glitched in this game. Instead of raising your chance to crit, it makes it so you can't crit at all. It's worse than Splash.

in the fire red after you catch mewtow the elite four get stronger and they get new pokemon, they go arround lvl 60
