Sign Language The Lords Prayer

This is my adorable aunt Merry Cullison, sharing her love of sign language as she follows a singer on a cd (King James Version- The Lord's Prayer). Her words in the middle are "We are so fortunate to be able to go to the Lord in prayer. Blessed be His name."

According to the Good Book, the people asked Jesus: "You say that we should pray to God. But what should we say when we pray?" Jesus replied, "This is what you should say when you pray:
Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kigdom come Thy will be done
on Earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our debts
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into tempatation
but deliver us from evil
For Thine is the kingdom
and the power and the glory
forever. Amen."

Sign language is beautiful & so is the prayer. The lyrics are slightly different in the different versions of the song. It takes talent to do it well (& I've none when it comes to piano or sign language- I think the 2 are related somehow). Good luck!

I want her to do it again but with my version of the Lord's Prayer, which is faster & more contemporary (I wrote the music for a play) but she is a perfectionist & says she is not ready yet.

I recognize about 3 or 4 words.... What state is she in? I'm in VA and that looks a lot different than the ASL I have learned.

Winderful ! different regions exhibit different signs I don't know where she's from but I understood 90% of what she signed .. I do wish you had signed what you said in the middle .. God Bless You Always and in ALL WAYS !!!

Which sign language is she using? I use ASL on a daily basis.. I was expecting that but didn't recognize anything. Which country is it from?
