@801liveable So glad you shared your experience with me. A person could tell that he was a gentle giant in his demeaner! I weaped upon hearing of his death! It bothers me a bit even now, and I never even knew him personally.

@OldTimerGuy58 Tim Russert and me went to the same college, John Carroll University in Cleveland. He was 4 years ahead of me. One day though I got to meet and talk to him at a JCU reunion 2002. I had a couple of highballs and I said what the Hell so I went up to him and sternly said Tim Russert, Meet the Press. Big smile came across his face and we proceeded to talk about anything for about 45 minutes. Even had a couple of drinks with me.A really good time..Really good guy..
