Happy Thanksgiving everyone! My Aunt from Long Beach came up and showed me how to make Palitaw, a favorite dessert/snack.
This version of Palitaw are soft rice dumplings served floating in a sweet coconut sauce topped with roasted coconut milk solids (Latik), popular in the Tagalog provinces in the Philippines. Enjoy!

how did you make the latik? i've tried it many times but i always fails. i use teh creme of coconut...do i have to use fresh coconut milk?

@riccinano Nope. Just use the canned coconut milk and reduce slowly. It takes some time, but you have to be patient. Thanks for watching!
