This song is one of my all time favorite song, because this song contains so much of hidden voices and instrumental music, which give different meaning and different perception of this song, each time I hear.
Bravo to the music composer and the lyricist for putting so much of effort into this song and mainly for reintroducing the 4th century BCE Sangam poetry to modern public.

you made me listen to this song for 14 times this day because of the beautiful meaning that you have given for each and every phrase. How beautiful the song is! I saw somewhere that this is in Manirangu ragam- a scale not used by many music directors and one that has to be carefully dealt in order to distinguish from sister ragas- Sri Ragam and Madhyamavathi.
