@mylittlefishy369 None of my wheelchairs have had seatbelts/straps. Your cousin probably has those straps to keep him upright. I would think it's because a C-6 injury affects triceps (I believe), and hands, so getting back up if he falls forward is probably tough. I'm a T-1 Complete, btw... so I can't control my abs either, but I can pull/push myself back up fairly easy.
@dejon71, she is obviously recently paralyzed, and still working out new ways to do things. As such, her leg muscles do not have to be atrophied at all.
@4Ebsus , you did not get the point of the scene: The one man stopped the other one from helping because he knew the woman would be able to get back in the chair by herself. And their approving facial expressions when she made it did not tell you anything? You must be the one who needs to work on some psych. issues
@cellphonevictim Shes a parapalegic not a quad. A quad has limited to no use of the arms and legs. I work with many people in wheelchairs, and as lond as they have use of their upper extremities they can do exactly what this woman did.
@cellphonevictim my sister is 5'7" 180ish pounds and gets back into her chair by her self with no help. I don't know where you are coming from but she does it and has done it since she was 3. And she pulles her the same way as that girl on here.
she sounds like shes having sex.

i dont know what it is about this but i like its meaning. XD only thing, i thought wheel chairs were all supposed to have some king of seatbelt
my cousin is a C-6 incomplete quadriplegic so obviously he has the 2 different belts, but is this any different?
(hes lucky, the skii accident shattered his C-1 vertebrae but didnt affect the spinal chord its self)
