  • @a1rs0ftman seriously? you know the battery is rechargable right? And like $0.50 to recharge. 20 miles costs you 3 bucks in a car.

  • I wish it was cheaper to get this all thrown together =/

  • how many miles will it go on a charge?

  • @youngjisue2000 um... what? Assume 20 mpg, 1 gallon is $3 (at time of original comment) ... so QED.

  • @ninjaturtle11754 if you have a tank that gets 0.00003 mpg

  • Is that road legal? Here in the UK 250w and 15mph is the limit.

  • @ore83 It is. You can build an ebike for under $500, including battery and bike. Use a 500W motor and use sealed lead acid batteries. You can always but the lithium battery later when you can afford it.

  • @EmoAssociation Start with Sealed Lead Acid batteries. They are a little heavy, and have less range, but they are cheap enough to get you started. The SLA batteries will last long enough for you to save a little bit out of each paycheck for lithium. That's what i did, and it's worth it. Check out my videos, i have a few of my bike.

  • Do you still have the e bike? I don't know yet if to buy a gas scooter or to build a e bike. The bike looks a lot of fun but maybe it will not be so reliable and is limited to the operation range. Beside this when the motor wears out or the batteries doesn't hold the charge it will set you back with another 5-600$ back so I don't think it is so money saving deal

  • @Grazell How do those V-Brakes work when you are at the highest speed? Is it possible to slam them? Or would you slowly ease on them if you have enough run-away space?
