  • damn

  • stock car?

  • Hello how many cells are you running on the tamiya esc?

  • u better not trying it without the drop down, becuz I hv a 101bk esc too and it says only for 7.4v max

but just my esc can handle it, so im just trying in 9.6v and its much faster then the dropping to 7.2v

  • ok no probs, i'm no expert in these matters, but i reckon the bearings will help alot, i guess your heat problems are to do with the 9.6v pack, i guess it will burn your motor out quicker or your esc, i've not tried mine without the drop down but ,my xspeed motor does not get too hot, even with the heavy hard plastic LAV shell, good luck anyway, Cheers..

  • no i dont hv my bearing yet, ok then i think i need to get those. but i hv seen lots of people using 9.6v without dropping the voltage, so i think it might be ok

  • hi there, re the battery pack does your lead from the battery connect directly to the black speedo/reciever? if so i think the motors getting hot because you've not got the battery drop down, google kyosho battery reduction unit (mini inferno) i bought my first pack with this, the second saddle pack was alot cheaper as it did not have it..do you have the bearings in the wheels? this will eliminate some drag, i did'nt change my diffs at all, they just sound 'clicky' which is normal i think..

  • i bought my battery pack seperately, and i hv already got a Xspeed motor. I wanted to get oil shocks for it too. The speed is ok for now, just the car isnt smooth enough, and the motor also get really hot after a few mins play time. I think there might be problems there. Do i need to change the diff. too?

  • Hi there, my Inferno came as a LAV, i think the only difference is the body (which is alot heavier than lexan) and the oil shocks. Do you have the saddle pack battery? or do you have the trays for the 6 AA's? I think the RTRs have plastic bushings in the wheels, i upgraded mine with metal bearings you need 8, this will smooth the whole car up. Also if you have the saddle battery pack (Red in color) upgrade the motor to X-speed..i put a slightly bigger pinion on too, gives more top end.

  • oh which one do u get? cuz mine is just a normal inferno RtR, the one with the black esc, and i cant find anything like that in the box.

And mine doesnt go smooth as well, is there any parts that is really nessesary? like shocks, and bearing?
