I was taking photographs and video of two swans in a lake when a group of Canadian geese showed up. The swans were not happy with these geese, but left them alone until the geese bum rushed the pond. Unfortunately, the bum rush happened while I was trying to reposition. Just because swans look majestic, doesn't mean that a swan won't try and kill a goose via drowning it when defending it's territory. Swans are nice to look at, but vicious.

  • What time was it when the bells chimed?

  • @levelat350 I think it was 9:30am or 10:30am. If I remember correctly, the bells chime on the half hour as well as the hour.

  • @CamillaCalamity - But I think Swans eat grass too...

  • I love how at the beginning the swans are just staring at them like "look at these grass-eating hosers!"

  • @JavierSoriano1 It usually happens when the swans' young are nearby - I was attacked by a swan because I got too close to the babies... Check my videos.

  • Swans are vicious and kill Canada geese?

In my park there are swans, ducks, geese and other birds. They share the lake and I never see them trying to kill each other.
