As stated below, even though this would've been a great 2-1 win for Canada and everyone would've been super happy, it wouldn't have been the same

Without Parise's ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING goal to tie it with seconds left in the game which stunned all of Canada, the nervous wait for overtime to begin and then Crosby's golden goal which ignited national cries of joy, this game wouldn't be as legendary as its remembered now =)
