Financial Fiasco: How America's Infatuation with Home Ownership and Easy Money Created the Economic Crisis

Johan Norberg talks about the role that low interest rates and a push for home ownership played in the recent economic collapse in the U.S. He spoke about his book at the Cato institute in Washington, DC. The Cato Institute's Mark Calabria provides commentary.

  • @Renegen1 really the CATO institute right wing? The same CATO institute that favors Gay marriage, abolition of the Patriot and ending the wars... that CATO institute

  • Because he is. The Cato Institute is entirely funded by the Koch brothers, some of the richest people in the world, and it is incredibly far-right wing. Easy rule of thumb : anything associated with the Cato Institute (or the Koch brothers for that matter) is instantly lying to you.

  • I live in Sweden. It is funny that here almost nobody has heard of Johan Norberg, and those who have , think he is a conservative right wing neo liberal.

  • I would like to see the continuation of this.
