HMRC super podcast launched

HM revenue and Customs has launched a new tax podcast.

It will advise freelancers and contractors on changes to tax regulations.
Stephen Banyard, director of HMRC's Business Customer Unit, says: "Our Super Podcast is a great way for businesses to remind themselves about some of the major changes on the horizon affecting VAT, PAYE and corporation tax."

In the first podcast there is information about Employer Annual Returns, which come into effect this spring and details on new penalties for late payment of PAYE.

Experts will also give advice via the podcast to help individuals and businesses keep on top of their tax paperwork.
