AR15 Target Shooting at 180 yards, filmed at about 48X digital and optical zoom. The long focal length amplifies changes in air density etc, and you can see the shockwave from the bullets coming in from the lower right side of the video into the target.
The target is made from 3/16 inch thick steel, with 2 sheets of paper taped onto it.
Rifle is a DPMS AP4, .223 shooting 55 grain FMJ rounds. I know I shot a pretty lousy group but it was windy and the trigger pull is way to high on the stock gun in my opinion...has anyone put a JP adjustable trigger into an AR15?
what kind of scope do you ave on that, a simons? and what magnification is it?

That's just a cheap 3-9x40 Bushnell scope I got for free from someone, it does the job though...
I have a Bushnell 6-18x50 on my 22, that one is really nice...
