Wow... JOM is a moron. I mean, I don't think Death Note is the virtuosic piece of art that its fanbase does (and, granted, said fanbase could certainly pick a worse show to be crazy about), but it was a pretty addicting, excellently-plotted show.

Off-topic: just finished Baccano. Was awesome.

hmm the fact that i watched a review of a review was sad like any1 cares about my opinion but i kinda agree with NC it was good in the second act however, i can see how the guy was angry about the second act it was weak until the end but even then with the end it was amazing and wouldnt have worked without the "weak" parts however the end in my opinion even though it was crazy awesome it was a bit of a cough out in the end because of the back and forth that just was "oh wait but" with goods win

this isn't my favorite show at all.... however Light is most certainly a genius and I think that's why the show is so respectable.... It's very smart and well thought out

I really hated the beginning cause it didn't develop Light well enough and the 2nd half did drag on, too long in my opinion.

About Death note i saw it all and i really like it, in my opinion its really GOOD writing and the twist in the plot are really genius thinking.

Light or Kira its actually a liked protagonist sometimes i find myself routing for him. I would prefer for him to kill Near and get caught by L but...

I hate people like this, cause he isn't just a troll, he seems like a rather intelligent guy, but then berates a show that a lot of people like, for not really true reasons, at least according to you. I haven't watch this show yet, but doesn't seem like its for everyone, hes just hating on someting popular for attention. Kind of like your last video Chris, hehe but I still like you and plus you didn't pretend to speak for everyone.

Death Note was kinda lame, though. It took forever to get the story really going (at around the time L enrolled) and then basically lost all direction following L's death. Although some of the ploys are really cool, many relied basically on luck (point in case: the mindwipe). Plus they really tried to oversell everything to make it look more badass which got annoying fast. Really? You thought Monster was fantastic? I thought it had some interesting characters but... Perfect Blue was weak
