  • Strength in your legs is more important than arm and chest strength when it comes to football. I've seen dudes that could press 400 lbs get driven back 50 yards because they could only squat 300 and the other guy got under their pads. It completely negated their arm and chest strength, and they didn't have to leg strength to stop the momentum.

    That said, if you keep a low base then chest and arm strength is a huge plus.

  • Holding your breath will also make your blood pressure rise.

    For football you might want to try keeping your hands at shoulder width.

  • i like lacrosse but i love football a lot more should i not play lacrosse this year,and lift and get faster?
