Don't know if you know this, but a really god way to get amazing looking rust, is to spray it, basecoat the rusted areas in blazing orange, then get some hairspray, spray a load of hairspray in the cap and paint it over the rused areas, but before it dries, sprinkle salt over it in patches. When the hairspray dries, paint up the rest of it, over the rust/hairspray/salt, then when that's dry, use a wet kitchen towel, or a sponge, ro rag, etc, to wipe away the bits of salt and hairspray to...
