In addition to a dynamic surface for strength and balance exercises the ball is also a great stretching prop. One of the most basic and obvious stretches is to simply to lie over the ball.
Thanks for the reply!! ;-) Since you were kind enough to give me an advice, I should bring you up to date. I did go to the doctor and in the end it was all fine =) It's just that I had started exercising regularly after living a mostly sedentary life and it was a body reaction. The pain went away really quickly and I didn't even had to take the painkillers the doctor prescribed to me.
@Sylphadora I don't think it's that normal by the sound of it, you should stop doing this until you can check with your doctor, anything that causes heart pain could be a problem for you.

Hi, why i feel pain in my back muscles when i am trying to stretch in this way, maybe i strained my muscles doing abs workout on swizz ball?
Now doing week of an i feel normal.. thanks
