Brazilian jiu jitsu is just al the ground techniques of japanese jiu jitsu, MMA is based on jiu jitsu also like karate and judo. And lol it is not "jujutsu" lol but jiu jitsu

@jonas770 all true but karate is NOT based on ju-jitsu nor kung fu but its a martial art that was developed on okinawa in 13th-century

Ju-jutsu changed my life, for both better and worse. I don't do competition, just self-defence. It damaged my spine, which in combination with my gamer-lifestyle and bad sitting-posture created a hernia at the age of 20, but it's given me alot of confidence and knowledge, teaching me about respect among other things, and given me purpose when my life has been bad. Ju-jutsu forever!

Judo is based on jujutsu
Karate is based on jujutsu and kung fu (most kung fu)
Bjj is based on jujutsu and wrestling.
