Jay - Official Trailer

Jay, a gay schoolteacher, is brutally murdered in an apparent sex-crime. Even before his family hears about it, a TV producer—also named Jay—and his camera crew are inside their house to document their shock and grief. The TV producer convinces the family to let him shoot the dead man's wake and funeral for a "reality show". This will help them to ferret out the truth about the crime, find the killer, and bring him to justice, he says. However, it soon becomes clear that this concept of "truth" owes much to the entertainment value of the material being shot, and the expectations of the television audience. Skillfully orchestrating this "reality show" is the dead man's namesake—a "journalist" who knows that the "truth" is whatever works on camera.

kudos to the actors. hindi pilit at OA ang dating. this movie is a lot better than big budgeted movies. gustong gusto kong manood ng filipino movies kaya lang nabubuwisit ako sa mga ka OA han ng mga artistang pa cute kaya i've stopped wacthing them a long time ago. ng umuwi ako sa 'pinas recently i bought several indie film dvds. i wasn't disappointed. yong mga hindi pala sikat ang may karapatang panoorin. sana dumami pa ang director kapareho ni Pasion. Mabuhay kayo!

@Latitude2007 actually, hindi talaga kumikita ang mga artista talga dito. siyempre meron din namang compensation kaso kadalasan sila pa ang nagccontribute financially kung maaari.

Hindi ako makapaniwalang maggampanan ni Baron ang role an bakla. Very convincing.

BTW, maraming bigating artista ang gumagawa ng indie movies. Kung limited ang budget ng mga producers, papaano nila mababayaran ang talent fee ng artista? Mayroon bang agency sa Pinas na nagpi-finance sa mga small time procuders? Buti na lang dumami ang mga indie movie makers sa Pinas dahil dumami rin ang nagkaroon ng trabaho. Mukhang mas maganda at relevant pa ang mga pelikula nila kaysa mga major movie companies

one of the best indie films I've seen in years. It's not like those indie films that highlight gay sex but this rather focuses on the effect of media to simulate "reality".

i could honestly say, one of the best pinoy indie films i've seen in years. bravo!
